Sago - Our Tradition

Tapioca Sago is used as an auspicious food consumed by 10crore people and Tapioca Roots are cultivated by 10lakh farmers in South India. For the past 50 years we have expertized in Natural Sago Sabudana. In certain communities of North India, Tapioca Sago is consumed after fasting for more than 20 hours, which is an instant energy with more than 84% Carbohydrates.

Tapioca Sago or Sabudhana (in hindi) has its history for more than 70 years, which is a basic food in the west, middle and northern states of India. Made out of Tapioca Starch of Cassava or Tapioca roots (Manihot esculenta). Like Potato, Tapioca root is grown below soil unlike Maize which is grown above soil. Sago made from 100% Tapioca is one of the high starch and high energy nutrient food of all its kind.

Tapioca Sago - Roasted (Common White Super Fine Sabudana)

Tapioca Roasted Sago a.k.a Super Fine Sago is made from Tapioca's wet starch. All types of Sabudana Kichadi, Sabudana Vada dna Sabudana Kheer are made from Super Fine Sago. The Wet starch at 40% moisture is sized into pellets and roasted as semi-jelly form. Later it is hot air dried, refined removing starch dusts and Packed in required packing. Mostly in 30kgs, and 50 kgs in bulk retail Packing and 45kgs in Sagoserve non-woven packing.

Moti Tapioca Sago - Roasted (Moti White Sabudana)

Similar to Tapioca Roasted Super Fine Sago, Moti or Mothi Sago is made from Tapioca's wet starch. Samller in size like Murtard Seeds, all types of Sabudana Kichadi, Sabudana Vada dna Sabudana Kheer are made from Moti Sago. The Wet starch at 40% moisture is sized into pellets and roasted as semi-jelly form. Later it is hot air dried, refined removing starch dusts and Packed in required packing. Mostly in 30kgs, and 50 kgs in bulk retail Packing and 45kgs in Sagoserve non-woven packing.

Nylon is the term used which looks like a Glassy appearance for a Sago. 100% Natural. Used mainly for making Sago Papad , Namkeens and other fry items.

Nylon is the term used which looks like a Glassy appearance for a Sago. 100% Natural. Used mainly for making Sago Papad , Namkeens and other fry items. Ceylon Nylon which is of smaller size is used for Kheer mostly.

We cater only the Starch at food-grade of high purity & high quality from proven technology. The Processed wet starch at 40% moisture is Flashed hot air dried, refined removing starch dusts and Packed in required packing. Currently we cater Native Tapioca Starch in 50 kgs in bulk retail Packing and 45kgs in Sagoserve non-woven packing.
